Mr. Hansen has been in education for over 20 years. He has been a high school English teacher, a coach, an Activities Director and a Principal before coming to Eastland. Mr. Hansen started his career in Bethany, Illinois (1 year), he then moved to Wyoming, Illinois (1 year), then to Rochelle Township High School (4 years), and then moved to Forreston High School (14 years).

Jay Ritchie:

Mr. Ritchie became the principal of the high school in 1994. He taught as an Industrial Arts instructor from 1978 to 1989 at Garwin and New Hampton in Iowa and at Eastland High School in Illinois. He was the principal at the grade school in Albany, Illinois from 1989 to 1994.

Mrs. Feltmeyer has been principal of the middle school since January 2000.  She has been an elementary teacher in the Lanark and Eastland School Districts for 20 years.
