Esports

Purpose: Esports is competitive video gaming for high school students.  Esports is done at the individual and team level depending on the game.  The Eastland Esports team plays the following games competitively within the county: Mario Kart (Team of 4), Rocket League (Team of 3), Super Smash Bros (Team of 5 and Individual).  This sport is growing in popularity each year and changing to meet the needs of those players.

Meetings: Friday evenings from 4-7 during the spring semester (January - April)

How to Join: Members must be in grades 10-12, to sign up in our sign-up week in December.  Members must be passing coursework and follow the school and IHSA guidelines for eligibility.

Yearly Activities: School competitions and IHSA Tournaments (Sectional and State Competitions)

Expectations: Participate in practices and meets, follow team code of conduct, communicate any schedule conflicts, have a positive attitude at all events, and attendance expectations.
