Attention Parents/Guardians of Eastland Students Attending the Whiteside Area Career Center (WACC):
Due to the difference in the start dates between the Whiteside Area Career Center (WACC) and the Eastland School District, Eastland students attending WACC will begin classes on Monday, August 17, rather than Wednesday, August 19.
The WACC bus schedule is as follows:
DepartureTime:
Shannon: 7:00 a.m.
Lanark: 7:15 a.m.
Return Time (Students may leave campus once the WACC bus returns.):
Lanark: approximately 10:20 a.m.
Shannon: approximately 10:35 a.m.
These pickup times will remain the same throughout the year.

Everyone welcome Alex (Todd) Nelms back to Eastland! Alex will be teaching 1st grade at EES this year.
This is the last week for summer library hours at Eastland Schools. Eastland Elementary's last day is Thursday, July 30th (9:30 - 11:30 a.m.), and Eastland Jr/Sr High School's last day is Friday, July 31st (9:00 - 10:30 a.m.).
Eastland Schools will be highlighting our new teachers this week. Our first new teacher to be put in the spotlight is Ella Doyle.
This is a reminder that online registration is now open for all returning Eastland students in grades 1–12. If you have not already done so, please register your returning student at your earliest convenience by logging in to Skyward through the link on the Eastland homepage atwww.eastland308.com. If you do not remember your login information, please contact your child’s school office for assistance.
When registering, please provide a unique email address and phone number for each parent, guardian, and emergency contact listed. The final step of the registration process includes a link to pay school fees. If you are registering multiple children, you may pay all fees at once; you do not need to submit a separate payment for each child.

Our internet provider is currently experiencing an outage. As a result, our phones are down.
Parents of students participating in a fall sport or activity are invited to a meeting on July 27 at 6:00 p.m. at EJSHS.
Skyward has taken the system down until 6:00 PM, Sunday, July 19th, to complete the maintenance they started yesterday to ensure there are no more outages. During this time registration will not be available.
Skyward is back up and running and registration is once again available.
Skyward is currently down and this is affecting our families ability to register their students. They are working on a fix and hope for the site to be available this afternoon. We will put out another post when the site is available.

1. Open Google Chrome.
2. Go to your Skyward website and sign in.
3. If Chrome blocks a pop-up, you’ll see a Pop-up blocked icon (a small window with an “X”) on the right side of the address bar.
4. Click the Pop-up blocked icon.
5. Select Always allow pop-ups and redirects from [your Skyward website].
6. Click Done.
7. Refresh the page and try again.

* If Skyward is not listed:
* Visit the Skyward website first.
* Return to Safari > Settings > Websites > Pop-up Windows and set it to Allow.
