Eastland Jr./Sr. High School would like to inform you of an upcoming Emergency Response Demonstration Assembly that will take place on Thursday, March 26th at 1:30 p.m. in the EJSHS north parking lot.
This outdoor assembly is part of our effort to provide students with awareness and education regarding emergency response services. The demonstration will include participation from several local emergency agencies, including:
REACT Helicopter
Mercy Health MD-1 Vehicle
Lanark/Shannon Fire Department and EMS
Carroll County Sheriff’s Department
During this time, you may notice increased emergency vehicle presence, noise, and helicopter activity near the school grounds. Please be assured that this is a planned and controlled educational event, and there is no emergency situation.
We appreciate the continued support of our community partners in helping provide meaningful learning experiences for our students.

The deadline to sign up for Thursday’s Fan Bus is today at noon. Sign-up for the Fan Bus for the possible Saturday game will be available until Friday at noon.

Eastland Fan Bus to Champaign
A fan bus will be available for the trip to Champaign and is open to all Eastland students and community members.
Sign-Up Information (Must sign up by Noon on Wednesday, 3/11/26)
9th–12th grade students: Sign up in the EJSHS office.
K–8th grade students: Must be chaperoned by an adult. One adult may supervise multiple students. Sign up in the EJSHS office.

11:45 AM – State Semi-Final vs. Chicago Marshall
The fan bus will leave at 6:45 AM.
The bus will make one stop approximately halfway for a restroom break and an opportunity to get food.
After the game:
If we win: The bus will return to Eastland immediately after the game.
If we lose: The bus will remain in Champaign in between games. We will likely go to a mall or shopping area where riders can get food before the second game which will take place at 7:00 PM.
Saturday, March 14, 2026 (Only if we win on 3/12)
10:00 AM – State Championship Game
The fan bus will leave at 5:30 AM.
The bus will make one quick restroom stop about halfway. Due to time constraints, this will not be a food stop.
