We’re excited to invite you to our upcoming Scholastic Bookfair, hosted by the Eastland Elementary Library. This event is an opportunity for students of all ages to build their home libraries and further their love of reading! As always, all purchases benefit our school and students.
The Bookfair will take place from Thursday, Oct. 30th thru Friday, Nov. 7th in the Eastland Elementary Small Gym. All Kindergarten through 6th Grade students will have an opportunity to preview the bookfair and return on a later day to purchase books during school hours. We will also have days and times exclusively for families to visit on Thursday, Nov. 6th and Friday, Nov. 7th during Parent-Teacher Conferences.
Information regarding exact days and times of preview and buying days will be coming next week!

This morning, a fire alarm was triggered at Eastland Junior-Senior High School during a cooking class. Students and staff followed safety procedures and evacuated quickly and safely.
Our local fire departments responded promptly, confirmed the building was safe, and everyone is now back in class with the school day continuing as normal.
A big thank you to our local firefighters for their quick response and continued support of our schools and community!
