For clarification and as a reminder: 1st and 2nd Grade Boys and Girls Basketball Camp has NOT changed. It is still May 26-May 28 from 8:00 am to 9:30 am.

Attention current Eastland 6th & 7th graders! Starting Tuesday, June 9th, Speed & Strength sessions will be offered to incoming 7th & 8th graders (current 6th & 7th graders). The sessions will be offered Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:30am-10:45am through June & July (there will be no sessions offered the week of June 28th-July 5th). There is no cost to Eastland students. Students will need to wear t-shirts, shorts, and gym shoes. Please contact Chris Dertz at the high school (cdertz@eastland308.com) with questions and concerns.

Congratulations to Jaden Brower and Morgan McCullough on receiving the Illinois Principals Association Leadership Award for Eastland Jr./Sr. High School.
Eastland third graders will showcase their artwork and poetry in the Shannon Park from May 8th-17th. Please stop by the park and enjoy their creativity.
Last week our HS music students virtually submitted to this year's IHSA Organization Contest. Our HS band received Division 2 rating and both our treble and mixed choirs received Division 1 ratings.
These results combined with our solo & ensemble ratings from March, earned us 3rd place in state for Class D Music Sweepstakes!

Due to the extension of the school year by a day, the JH High and Kids Boys Basketball camps have been rescheduled from May 26th - 28th to May 27th - 29th.
Both the Baseball and Softball games for today have been cancelled due to cold temperatures.
The Mixed Choir performance for this evening has been moved up to 6:10 PM from the original the original 7:30 PM start time. It will still be located at the Lena Jr High Gym.
Due to the weather forecast, today's JH Track meet has been canceled.
Both the softball and baseball games scheduled for tomorrow, April 18, 2026, have been moved from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Both games are at home, with varsity first and JV to follow.
Donuts with Grown-Ups at EES has been rescheduled for Monday, April 20th.
