Today in Speed & Strength class, sophomore Carsten W. ran the fastest Freelap-timed 10yd fly time in school history, reaching 23.23 MPH. Wow!

EJSHS will be having a dress up day to get our kids ready for Christmas break. Dress up week will be December 16th-20th.

Congratulations to two of our choir students who made State Chorus this year. Emma L was chosen to sing in this year’s All State Chorus and Caylie S
will be singing in the Honors Choir. This is the highest honor musicians can attain in Illinois. Congratulations to both of you!

This holiday season, there will be two concerts featuring the Eastland Elementary music students. 5th and 6th grade students will perform on Wednesday, December 11th at 5:30 pm. Kindergarten through 4th grade students will perform on Thursday, December 12th at 6:30 pm. Please see the flyers below for more information. Hope to see you there!


12/2/2024 - Hello! Beginning TODAY - Monday, December 2 we will be adjusting our dismissal procedures to accommodate for muddy/wet grass in the playground area. On Monday, December 2 all students who are getting picked up will be released through Main Door 1 at 3:10pm. Please park in designated parking spaces (not in the fire lane). You are welcome to park in the diagonal spaces as well as the parking lots to walk up to the sidewalks to pick up kiddos if you would like. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.

During our 5-3-1 weeks in the weight room, sophomores Brecken and Phin both totaled over 1000lbs on trap bar deadlift, bench press, and box squats and earned their 1000lbs Club shirts. Phin also became the first Speed & Strength student of the 2024-2025 school year to earn his #FastCats tags! Great job, boys!
