Introducing: Art Show and Tell! Students at Eastland Elementary were invited to share an artwork they made outside of school and provide a short statement about their work. In this first quarter show, we have 23 participants (including yours truly) from 5 grade levels. Enjoy, and stay tuned for quarter two!

This morning, a fire alarm was triggered at Eastland Junior-Senior High School during a cooking class. Students and staff followed safety procedures and evacuated quickly and safely.
Our local fire departments responded promptly, confirmed the building was safe, and everyone is now back in class with the school day continuing as normal.
A big thank you to our local firefighters for their quick response and continued support of our schools and community!
