We want to notify the public of a fire alarm that occurred at approximately 12:22 pm at Eastland Junior High School. The fire alarm was false and stemmed from a test of the greenhouse fire alarm system. There was no emergency and all students and staff were safe throughout the brief interruption and were outside for less than five minutes. We apologize for any confusion this may have caused and appreciate everyone's quick and calm response. Safety remains our top priority, and we thank you for your understanding. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out.
