Do not let the date fool you, we are proud to announce that our very own Superintendent of Schools, Dr. Alex Kashner, has been selected as the IASA Northwest Region Superintendent of Distinction! This honor is awarded by peers in the region and recognizes outstanding leadership, communication, professionalism and community involvement. Dr. Kashner is one of only 21 school Superintendents selected across the State of Illinois and will be recognized by the state association at a luncheon on May 15th, 2025.

Sophomore EPC football player Gavin H recorded a 1018 Truck Stick score today while running sprints. He earned all 3 EPC wristbands AND the Kool-Aid Man t-shirt! Wow!

Eastland Junior High Quiz Bowl finished their season last night. 8th grade finished 3rd for the season and in the tournament, and 7th grade finished 2nd for the season and in the tournament!

Today, our 4th grade students attended Symphony Day at the Rockford Coronado Performing Arts Center. They enjoyed a performance featuring stories from real people that traveled through Ellis Island. The fundraising from our VIP Seating and wreath raffle make this field trip possible every year. Thank you!!
Eastland graduate and current Upper Iowa University wrestler Ethen Doty has qualified for the NCAA DII National Wrestling Championships!
